IJ Start Canon Pixma TS6100 Set Up Driver– The Canon PIXMA TS6100 Wireless Inkjet All-In-One replaces the PIXMA TS6020 as an all-in-one (AIO) low-volume photo-centric printer for use by families and home offices. Aside from the addition of Bluetooth and some other minor tweaks, TS6100 is not much different from its predecessor. This looks and prints the same, and at the same speed, for the same list price, which is around $50 less than the editors ‘ Choice Canon PIXMA TS9120. Like most consumer-grade photo printers in this price range, TS6100 is slow and does not have an automatic document feeder (ADF). It prints quite well, though – especially photos – making it a sensible alternative to pricier and over-expensive-to-use Canon TS9120.
Small and light on features
One of the main differences between TS6100 and Canon TS9120 The higher brother is that it uses only five inks, compared to the higher-end six ink AIO. In addition to the four standard Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black (CMYK) Dye-based, the TS6100 also uses black pigment ink to produce deeper blacks in text and graphics; In addition to the black pigment ink, Canon TS9120 has a photo blue ink to improve details and widen the color range, according to Canon. Epson also offers consumer-class AIOs photos with more than four traditional CMYK inks.
Creating Connections and Software
While TS6100 does not support SD memory cards, it supports some of the standard and mobile connectivity options, starting with Wi-Fi and connected to one PC via USB. The EPSON XP-640 additionally supports Wi-Fi directlyly to create a peer-to-peer connection to the printer without either it or your mobile device is being connected to the network. XP-640 also supports both SD card and USB Thumb drive.
Other types of mobile device connections for TS6100 include Google Cloud Print, Mopria, and AirPrint, as well as Canon’s own wireless PictBridge to print from some Canon, Canon Print, and PIXMA Cloud link digital cameras. This time, Canon also included Bluetooth 4.0, which is somewhat unusual for desktop printers with Wi-Fi. Most printer makers include Wi-Fi Direct or Near-Field (NFC) communications or both. While Bluetooth will allow most compatible smartphones and tablets to connect to the printer, Wi-Fi Direct has a wider range and a higher throughput rate.
Because it is a consumer-grade photo printer, the TS6100 ‘s software bundle is geared to scan and print photos and graphics. In addition to drivers, CDS include My Utility Scan printer, Network tool, My Image Garden, and Quick Menu. My printer is a diagnosis, maintenance, and repair utility, and the Network tool allows you to display and modify the AIO network settings. My Image Garden is a collection of utilities, such as special effects, corrections, and additional filters; Full HD Film prints lets you isolate and print frames from video shots with certain Canon digital cameras; and Creative Park Premium is a collection of online document templates (for creating calendars, greeting cards, and so on). Quick Menu, an always-visible icon collection, provides quick access to My Image Garden and other features listed here.
